Scholarship Program
Annually, the Patterson Foundation Scholarship Program provides up to 25 new scholarships of $2,000 each to dependent children of full-time Patterson Companies employees. Scholarship applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or are already enrolled full-time at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school. These awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a baccalaureate degree, or equivalent, is earned, whichever occurs first.
An independent selection committee from Scholarship Management Services, a department of Scholarship America, reviews the submitted applications and makes recommendations for awards based on past academic performance, future potential, leadership and participation in school or community activities, financial need, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal. Awards are granted each summer without regard to race, color, creed, religion, gender or disability.
