How to Apply for a Grant
If your organization would like to be considered for a grant, you will need to complete
a Patterson Foundation Grant Application Form (last updated December 2008). Programs
that relate directly to the primary interests stated in Patterson Foundation Guidelines
are most likely to receive funding. At this time, funding for start-ups or new projects
will be considered only if the grant will reduce operating costs or will expand
capacity without increasing costs.
We encourage you to begin by sending us an inquiry with a brief description of the
program for which funds are sought. If your program appears to further the goals
of Patterson Foundation as stated in our Guidelines, we will send you a Grant Application
Form. Send your letter of inquiry to:
Most applications that receive funding require 60 to 140 days for consideration
and approval, depending upon when the Patterson Foundation Board meets to consider
requests.
Please contact us if you have any questions about Patterson Foundation’s application
process or application due dates. We will gladly assist you in determining if your
program qualifies for consideration.
